August 21 – Manchester City duo Phil Foden and Khadeja ‘Bunny’ Shaw have been voted the Professional Football Association (PFA) Players of the Season.
Foden became the fourth City player in five years to win the prize, three months after he claimed the FWA (Football Writers’ Association) Footballer of the Year award. He received the prize at the PFA’s Awards dinner in Manchester on Tuesday. The 24-year-old was pivotal in his club’s fourth consecutive Premier League title,
