Sarah Ann Hildebrandt won the gold in the 50kg wrestling category at the Paris Olympics after Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat was disqualified for being 100 grams overweight. Hildebrandt, initially confused about Phogat's absence, defeated Cuban wrestler Yusneylis Guzman Lopez in the final. Hildebrandt's disciplined weight cut over two years paid off successfully.
