Charley Hull was recently called the Jon Daley of women’s golf after she was seen puffing on cigarettes at a tournament.
But you won’t see her ripping darts at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Why is that?
Simple: there’s a smoking ban at the Games. And that might actually have an effect on Hull’s shot to win a medal for Great Britain.
Per GolfWeek, she had this to say: “I do smoke on the course. It’s a habit, but I won’t do this week.”
She said it helps relax her, but accepted the rules by simply saying, “It is what it is.”
#NEW: Charley Hull says she may not be allowed to smoke while on the course this week and that it could affect her game as she goes for gold in Paris. pic.twitter.com/wLWhx134bB
