BRITISH swimmer Adam Peaty will be looking to add to his medal haul in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
In a tight race last week, the superstar added a SIXTH Olympic medal to his tally in the 100m breastroke, and will now compete in the 4x100m medley.
After the race he could be seen celebrating with family.
In short, yes – Peaty has a son.
The Brit has a little boy George with his ex-partner Eirianedd Munro.
George, who could be seen in the stands in Paris, was born in 2020 and aged three.
Peaty and Munro met at Loughborough University but split up in 2022.
He is currently dating Holly Ramsay, the daughter of Gordon Ramsay.
After the semi-final on Saturday night, the swimmer gave an emotional interview about George.
Peaty said: “Don’t even talk about my son, it makes me cry.
“He goes, ‘Daddy, are you the fastest boy?’
“That’s what he says, even if I haven’t seen him I guess.
“But you know, I guess I just want to be the fastest boy tomorrow.”
Peaty went on to win an incredible joint-silver in the final – losing out to Italian Nicolo Martineghi by just 0.02secs.
After the medal ceremony, Peaty then made a beeline for his family where he could be seen giving George a huge cuddle.
Peaty burst into more tears as he recalled hugging his son, admitting he had cried so much it “made me feel like I’ve been stung by a bee, my face is so swollen.”
The six-time Olympic medallist said: “George normally goes ‘daddy, are you the fastest boy?’ and I would’ve said ‘not today’.
“But he says ‘I love you Daddy’ And that’s all I care about.”
However, he revealed: “I had a curveball this morning with my throat and stuff.
“You can train eight years for something and not feel 100 per cent on a day. And 100 per cent costs you 0.02s and that’s just the way.
“But I don’t ever want that to be an excuse. That’s the cards I was dealt.
“I won’t be going home thinking about that, even if it feels like a hangover in the morning because of the emotions.
“Getting here was a big achievement. It’s not sad at all.
“When I touched the wall, I truly believed I’d got it but it wasn’t meant to be.
“If I’d won it would have been a fairytale ending. But I’m not defining this whole journey back, the last 14 months, by whether I got a medal or not.”
Following the race, Peaty said: “It’s been a very long way back and I look at the score there and you would never think in your wildest dream that it would be 59s to win it there.
“I executed as well as I could. It doesn’t matter what it says on the scoreboard because in my heart I know that I’ve won there.
“I’m not crying because I’ve come second, I’m crying because of how hard its been to get here.
“It’s incredibly hard to win it once, then to win it again, and then to win it again. Everything I’ve done to this point has happened for a reason, and I can still compete with the best in the world.
“In my heart I’ve won, and these are happy tears. I said to myself I’d give it my all every day and I’ve done that, so how can you not be happy?
“This is what the Olympics is about, and I was just one percent two percent out. I woke up this morning with something in my neck, but these are not excuses, it’s what athletes have to deal with.
“I’m a very religious man and I asked god just to show my heart and this is my heart, I couldn’t have done more.”
Peaty has a chance to add to his medal tally 4x100m medley and men’s 4x100m medley.

Lizzie Deignan becomes the first female British cyclist to be selected for four Olympics and is one of four Team GB stars in the road race (1pm).
Amber Rutter goes for skeet gold (qualifying 8.30am, final 2.30pm) just four months after giving birth to her first child in April.
And it’s Team GB vs India in the men’s hockey quarter-final (9am) – a repeat of their clash in Tokyo which India won 3-1.
GLOBAL STARS TODAY
In a blockbuster men’s singles tennis final, Carlos Alcaraz is the only man standing between Novak Djokovic and the Career Golden Slam (1pm).
And it is arguably the biggest race of the entire athletics programme with the men’s 100m final (8.55pm) – Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo are among the favourites but Zharnel Hughes could threaten for GB.
