BBC commentator Matthew Pinsent interviewed Team GB’s women’s eight rowers on his KNEES following their bronze medal win at the Olympics.
Pinsent was covering the men’s and women’s eight finals on Saturday morning.
Team GB claimed bronze in the women’s event, finishing behind Romania and Canada.
They appeared thrilled when speaking to four-time Olympic gold medal winner Pinsent and Dame Katherine Grainger after the race.
But in order to get all eight athletes in the camera frame, Pinsent completed the interview on his knees.
He said: “We are really going to struggle to get you all in. I’m going to get on my knees in front of you.”
Grainger then quipped: “Matthew doesn’t get on his knees for many people!”
While returning to his feet after the chat, Pinsent then joked: “My knees aren’t what they used to be!”
Speaking after the race, Emily Ford said: “The whole way we just trusted one another and trusted the process.
“We have really learned to have belief in ourselves and that’s exactly what we did.

“I think this medal is more than for just us lot standing here – it’s for people past and present, our family, and all of our support network.
“Anyone that has got ambition: go out there, believe in yourselves and you can do it.”
Holly Dunford added: “That was incredible. I think we left everything out there and I think we can be really proud of what we have just done. Wow.”
And Eve Stewart explained: “I think it was great execution. I’m just so thrilled to be standing here and I don’t really have many other words than that, to be honest.”
Team GB won gold in the men’s eight final, beating Netherlands and USA.

US sprinter Sha-Carri Richardson and Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson will battle it out for women’s 100m sprint gold – with Dina Asher-Smith hoping to keep pace (8.20pm).
We also get a first look in the heats at 100m men’s stars Americans Noah Lyles and Christian Coleman who will battle with Zharnel Hughes for glory (10.45am).
