If so, you may have noticed that during the podium ceremonies at the Games, medalists have been handed a long, skinny box as the gold, silver or bronze gets draped around their necks.

On TikTok, Australia’s Jessica Fox revealed the secret after accepting the gold medal in Canoe Slalom. It’s the a rolled up print of the official Paris Olympics poster with either a gold, silver or bronze detail.
And, yeah, that’s so much better than the flowers that are normally handed out.
