Peyton Manning certainly knows a lot about playing quarterback.
He’s regarded as one of the best to ever play the position in the NFL, winning two Super Bowls during his Hall of Fame career. But when it comes to the Olympics, he’s not quite as knowledgeable.
In spite of that, Manning was tabbed by NBC to help announce the opening ceremony at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Friday, and while in the broadcast booth, Manning hilariously wore a quarterback wristband.
He joked that the wristband contained notes on “all 200 countries, all 10,000 athletes” competing in the Olympics, to which co-host Mike Tirico had the perfect reply.
“That’s just Peyton Manning being Peyton Manning,” he said.

Manning may not be an expert when it comes to Olympic sports, but like any good quarterback, he always comes prepared.
