ENGLAND beat Switzerland on penalties in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024.
The Three Lions will now be dreaming of reaching the showpiece final on July 14, having lucked out by being placed on the ‘easier’ side of the draw.
England play the Netherlands in the semi-final of Euro 2024 on Wednesday, July 10, at 8pm BST.
The Dutch have been underwhelming in the tournament so far after scraping through the group stage.
But Holland have looked better in the knockout stages as they brushed aside Romania in the last 16 before coming from behind to beat Turkey 2-1 in the quarter-finals.
If England are victorious against the Netherlands in Wednesday’s blockbuster semi-final they will face either France or Spain in the grand final.
France face Spain the night before the Three Lions’ clash on Wednesday night – meaning Gareth Southgate’s men will know who their potential final opponents are ahead of their last 4 tie.
The Euro 2024 final is set to take place on Sunday, July 14, with kick-off set for 8pm BST.
