Two teams moving in different directions take the field on Monday afternoon as the red-hot Houston Astros take on the slumping Toronto Blue Jays at 3:07 p.m. EDT.
The Astros are 9-1 in their past 10 games, the best record in the entire MLB over that stretch. The recent run has brought them back above .500 and only 3.5 games behind the division-leading Seattle Mariners.
Meanwhile, the Blue Jays are the other side of the coin, going just 3-9 in their last 12 games and struggling to remain relevant in a talented AL East.
Hunter Brown takes the mound for Houston, and much like the Astros, Brown has improved vastly of late. The RHP has won his last four starts, giving up just one earned run during his last 25 innings pitched.
Yariel Rodriguez gets the start for the Blue Jays, just his second since returning from the IL in June.
Will the Astros continue their winning ways, or will the Blue Jays get a much needed win? Check out today’s game on MLB Network and Fubo to find out.
