Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard didn’t waste his moment to send TD Garden into a fervor on Monday night.
Right before the halftime buzzer in Game 5 of this year’s NBA Finals, Pritchard heaved an astounding half-court shot to the basket that connected for a 3-pointer.
As soon as the shot fell through, the Celtics fans in attendance went bonkers for the basket that gave the team a 67-46 lead at halftime.
As you could imagine, NBA players from past and present were all very impressed (if not the least bit surprised) by Pritchard’s fantastic basket that got the Celtics even further to a championship.

Although, noted Dallas Mavericks fan Patrick Mahomes wasn’t the least bit excited to see Pritchard make the half-court bucket.
Bro i hate this dude

Hey, Mahomes has won his fair share of championships with the Kansas City Chiefs. Even begrudgingly, he knows a likely winner when he sees one, and this moment probably sealed it for Boston.
