Alexandre Pantoja remains the UFC flyweight champion.
Pantoja fended off a mighty challenge from Steve Erceg on Saturday, winning a hard-fought unanimous decision to secure the second defense of his belt at UFC 301, which took place at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro. But not everyone agreed with Pantoja’s victory, as Erceg’s aggressive game plan and success in the striking department convinced many fighters that he did enough to knock the flyweight king off his throne.
See how the MMA world scored Pantoja vs. Erceg below, as well as other reaction to UFC 301’s championship main event.

Ercegs boxing is looking solid. The more Pantoja makes this a dog fight the better because straight up he’ll get beaten by Ko if he try’s to be the technical fighter #UFC301

I got it 3-2 for the champ but a hell of a performance by the Dunder Mifflin GM #ufc301

I just didn't see it for Pantoja. The wrestling scrambles looked great. His jiu-jitsu was so dominant, but he just didn't do anything with it?? #UFC301
