Day 3 of the NFL Draft can jump start a franchise’s turnaround or be the booster rocket to a team’s Super Bowl aspirations. It’s also a massive, overgrown field in which scouts and general managers are forced to separate wheat from weeds.
Finding the right players in rounds four through seven means an infusion of low-cost starters capable of changing a team’s fortunes. While it’s impossible to know which players will pan out and who’ll sink below their humble draft station, some players certainly look like proper fits for teams with glaring needs.
