Tensions were running high during Week 14’s clash between the Chiefs and Bills on Sunday. That was evidenced by a heated sideline discussion between Kansas City’s All-Pro defensive lineman Chris Jones and defensive line coach Joe Cullen.
Jones and Cullen could be seen discussing a recent play on the sideline and appeared to have a disagreement. Jones looked as if he was shouting at Cullen, who then proceeded to clap back at the defensive tackle before slamming his tablet onto the ground next to the bench.
The eighth-year veteran then looked away before taking some oxygen, seemingly ending their brief quarrel.

On the previous drive, Buffalo had extended its lead to 10 points after converting on a field goal. It seems something from the Bills’ scoring drive stood out to Cullen, prompting his fiery discussion with Jones on the sideline.
Sitting next to Jones and Cullen was defensive end George Karlaftis, who could be seen laughing at the incident, suggesting this was nothing more than some tough love between a star defenseman and his coach.
