A frustrating week for unbeaten Uzbek contender
Shohjahon Ergashev (18-0, 16) [Шохжахон Эргашев] has gotten worse today.
Yesterday it was revealed a bout between Ergashev and Canadian based Kazakh
Batyrzhan Jukembayev (18-0-0-2, 14) [Батыржан Джукембаев] had been turned down by Jukembayev.
Today he has learned his scheduled bout with
Dzmitry Miliusha (9-3-1, 4), which was supposed to be taking place tomorrow, has been delayed.
Ergashev spoke to Olamsports about the situation and explained that:
"Yes, unfortunately, that's what happened. The main problem was that we couldn't come to terms with Match TV."
Due to the issues the bout has now been pushed back to October, though there there isn't a date yet announced for the contest.
For Ergashev this is a second frustrating story this week, and it's a shame. We would have loved to have seen him Vs Jukembayev, and whilst the bout with Miliusha was little more than a stay busy, it's still a shame that that too seems to have had issues.
Also a big thanks, as always, to the brilliant
Jalol Akhmedov (@JalolAkhmedov) for alerting us to this story.
