As India races to develop a vaccine for Covid-19, the government on Sunday said the country is entering the human trial stage which "marks the beginning of the end" of the pandemic. Covid-19 vaccine candidate Covaxin, developed by BBIL, had recently got the nod for human clinical trials. Globally, 11 out of the 140 vaccine candidates have entered the human trial phase.
