With the Super Bowl 54 teams decided, predictions are rolling in.
Monday, four-time Super Bowl champ and Pro Football Hall of Famer Joe Montana made the best big game prediction of all.
Montana tweeted, “You heard from me first. I GUARANTEE my team will win the SUPER BOWL!!”
Now, if you’re like me .. hearing that (without seeing the accompanying picture) may lead you to believe Montana is picking the team he won all four super bowls with and played 14 seasons with .. San Francisco .. instead of the team he finished career with, Kansas City. Then, there’s also the fact that the former quarterback’s Twitter profile picture is him in his 49ers uniform and helmet.
But, Montana kept the prediction neutral, sharing a picture of his two framed uniforms .. the No. 19 Kansas City Chiefs on the wall beside the No. 16 San Francisco 49ers jersey.
To his credit, Montana is now guaranteed a correct pick and a win .. even if neither team is. Kyle Shanahan’s and Andy Reid’s teams kickoff at 6:30 E.T. in Miami on Feb. 2.
