Check out the main cards for this weekend’s Bellator MMA doubleheader, capped off by Fedor Emelianenko against Chael Sonnen.
We have not one, but TWO Bellator MMA fight cards this week. Friday night (October 12th) sees Bellator 207 take place in Uncasville, Connecticut, with Matt Mitrione taking on Ryan Bader in the heavyweight tournament semifinals. The following night on Long Island, New York, Fedor Emelianenko fights Chael Sonnen in the other semifinal.
Of note from Bellator 207 is the co-main event between heavyweights Roy Nelson and Sergei Kharitonov, as well as a welterweight grand prix alternate bout featuring Lorenz Larkin and Ion Pascu, who is replacing the injured Erick Silva. For Bellator 208, the co-main is former UFC champion Benson Henderson against the heavy-handed Saad Awad in a lightweight bout. Alexander Shlemenko also returns to action against Anatoly Tokov, while uh... well let’s hope Cheick Kongo vs. Tim Johnson isn’t as dull as it looks on paper.
Paramount Network and DAZN will simultaneously broadcast both cards. There’s really nothing of note on either of the prelims, which will stream at 7 PM ET, so here’s a rundown of main cards and bout orders for this double dose of Bellator MMA.
