WATCH: AOC and Mamdani drop all-Spanish video pushing free day care for illegal aliens
U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., joined New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani in dropping a new video Tuesday – voiced all in Spanish – promoting free day care for all city residents, including illegal aliens.
The video did provide English subtitles, as Mamdani began the announcement by admitting: “My Spanish is … a little rusty.”
“Don’t worry, Mayor,” Ocasio-Cortez replied, as she commenced her pitch.
“If your child is turning age 3 or 4 in 2026, you can enroll them in free 3-K or Pre-K in New York City. But you must apply by Feb. 27, which is the deadline. Any New York City parent, regardless of your occupation, income or immigration status is eligible to sign their child up.”

“Democrats are taking Americans’ money and spending it on foreign invaders,” noted LibsofTikTok.
In January, Mamdani championed the free programs for the children of illegal immigrants, saying: “These are programs for every single New Yorker. These are not programs that are going to ask the immigration status of any one of the children.
“All of those children are New Yorkers. They should all be enrolled in Pre-K and 3-K no matter where they were born or where they come from. And we are also proud to be a sanctuary city.”
WTF: NYC GIVES ILLEGAL ALIENS TAXPAYER-FUNDED CHILD CARE
Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced that universal child care will now include illegal immigrants.

Also last month, New York’s Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul announced “an unprecedented investment as the next step to deliver affordable, universal childcare for children under five years of age across New York State.”
“There’s one thing that every family in New York can agree on, the cost of childcare is simply too high,” Hochul said. “As New York’s first mom governor, fighting for New York’s families has always been at the core of my agenda. Since taking office, I’ve put families front and center, fighting to make our state more affordable and laying the groundwork to deliver universal childcare.
“I’m proud to partner with Mayor Mamdani and leaders across our state to make this a reality, turning that foundation into a concrete roadmap that will transform the lives of working parents and kids.”
