BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident Friday night in Buffalo, a police spokesperson announced.
Officials said just before 10:30 p.m., a vehicle struck a number of unoccupied parked vehicles before striking a pedestrian at Deerfield and Fernhill Avenues.
The vehicle, a Honda Civic, left the scene of the accident, authorities said, but was located a short time later by officers.
The pedestrian, a 47-year-old man of Buffalo, was transported by ambulance to ECMC to be treated for apparent non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
Police said the driver is outstanding at this time.
