Snoop Dogg is taking his Olympic comentating very seriously. He’s doing as many of the sports as he can in Paris, before the athletes take over. And he’s making a list of the competitors he’s most excited to meet. Specifically, he wants to meet the crip walking horse from Tokyo 2021. “I’m definitely trying to meet him. Hopefully he’s in the Olympics so I can say, ‘What’s happening?’ to him,” Snoop told Time. “Bring him a couple of carrots, some apples or somethin’, know what I’m saying?” What crip walking horse, you ask? Glad we’re here to explain.
This isn’t Snoop Dogg’s first rodeo Olympics. In 2021, he co-hosted a ‘lympos comentary show with Kevin Hart. In one memorable segment, Snoop marveled at the dressage competition, which looked more like c-walking to the LBC native. The rider/horsie combo is was Germany’s Isabell Werth, riding Bella Rose. Alas, Snoop misgendered a horse.
Unfortunately for Snoop, Bella Rose has retired and won’t be competing in France. Werth said on Instagram that Bella is “enjoying her retirement” and trying not to get pregnant by a pony named Via Bellani. Relatable queen.
