120th Toy Fair 2026 Spotlights Innovation In Play In NYC
The 2026 Toy Fair kicked off four days of product discovery, innovation, and business on Feb. 14, holding court in New York City’s Javits Center – and marking a milestone 120th year for the iconic show.
It was estimated that the show, which was to run through Feb. 17, would attract retail buyer attendees from 50 states and nearly 100 countries and territories, browsing aisles filled, according to show producer The Toy Association, with “the latest in building sets, arts & crafts, collectibles, board games, card games, puzzles, dolls, plush and STEM toys, throwback favorites, licensed products and everything in between.”
Here’s a smattering of just a couple of the many toys, games, and youth entertainment products that were on exhibit at the venue.:
Sara Jordan of Tonies posed with huggable Cuddle Tonies plush figurines, designed for sensory engagement and bedtime routines. Complementing these, the Toniebox 2 offers a screen-free audio experience with hundreds of Tonies characters, interactive Tonieplay games, and intuitive kid-friendly controls. Features like a sleep timer with light, sunrise alarm, and dynamic light ring support play and daily routines, while the Tonies app allows parents to manage setup and volume, making imaginative, tactile play easy and screen-free.
At Toy Fair, Maxwell Bouge of 3Doodler was shown handling the company’s Air Builders inflatables alongside new offerings like the 3Doodler Candy 3D Pen Set. Targeted at kids ages 8 and up, this mess-free pen uses edible candy capsules so young creators can draw 3D sweets and decorate treats with safe, tasty designs. The product line includes multiple kits at varying price points, expanding 3Doodler’s creative play portfolio.
Henry Interiano showcased the Animat3 D Jabberin’ Jack Motion Sensor, a 12-inch animated pumpkin from Mindscope Products that requires no setup — just plug in and play. The plug-and-play design includes a built-in short-throw projector and speaker that bring three-character themes (Spooky, Traditional, Funny) to life with singing, talking and jokes. Simple controls and continuous animations make it a fun seasonal decoration straight out of the box.
At the My Arcade/Dream Gear booth, Moris Mirzadeh displayed the portable retro PAC-MAN Joystick Player, a handheld take on the classic arcade favorite. The officially licensed device features a high-resolution 3.5″ full color vertical screen, intuitive joystick controls, adjustable brightness, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and saves high scores. Powered by 4 AA batteries or USB-C, it offers on-the-go nostalgia with built-in sound and modern convenience.
Gorman Lam of the Incredible Group showcased Mooshies, a wide array of ultra-soft, slow-rise foam squishies designed for sensory play, stress relief, and collecting. Produced under the Incredible Play and Incredible USA lines, Mooshies often feature food-themed designs like Capybara Buns, Wheel Cake Mystery Box, and Seal Ice Cream, with new items such as Booty Baozi and Mini Bread arriving in March 2026. They are available through the Incredible Group catalog and delight all ages with tactile, scented fun.
