Job Description
Normal working days: weekdays
Normal work shifts: First (day)
Salaried “Exempt” position
- Coordinate with other departments and subcontractors
- Establish a manufacturing process for detailed parts and assemblies.
- Design and produce drawings for fixtures, gages, and special tooling.
- Create and maintain work instructions.
- Create, verify, and optimize CNC programs.
- Obtain First Article Inspection.
- Coordinate with the Quality department on inspection methods.
- Research new machining methods.
- Perform costs analysis/justifications.
- Define customer requirements.
- Establish project timeline.
- Generate cost estimates
- Establish first cycle run-time.
- Train operators in machining operations.
- Support production department.
Requirements
- 40 hours per week
- Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s degree
- Applicants are preferred to have had at least 2 years experience
- Applicant must Be Knowledgeable in Solidworks, CATIA, MasterCam, and Vericut.
- Applicant must Be Proficient in GD&T
- Applicant must Be Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn and incorporate skills relative to company software, office equipment, and position.
- Applicant must Be Standing for an extended period of time when verifying CNC program or machining methods.
- Applicant must Be Able to lift necessary fixtures and gages.
