In the show, he will play the recurring role of Richard Miller.
Richard will be hiding a dark secret after making a huge mistake at work.
Fearing he would have to confess all to his boss, he is left feeling relieved when she is involved in a major accident which causes her to suffer partial amnesia, making her forget the previous eight years of her life and thus keeping his secret hidden.
Ahead of the show’s release, Scott discussed his character with Parade in which he said: “This is not the case of a very bad person doing things that are innate to their nature.
“This is a very good human being who has found himself in an awful situation where mistakes were made.
“It’s the reaction to those things that have not been as good as they could be.“
It marks a major return to screens for Scott who first rose to fame for playing Bailey Salinger in Party of Five between 1994 and 2000.
He appeared in the show for its entire run and featured in 142 episodes.
In recent years, Scott has also held roles in shows such as Perception and Nancy Drew.
