EAGLE-EYED viewers of The Masked Singer’s latest series are convinced they’ve cracked the identity of one contestant.
This year, Bush is one of several stars hoping to sing their heart out whilst also keeping their celebrity status under wraps. But who is hiding behind the mask? Here’s all you need to know.
The Masked Singer has returned to screens[/caption]Bush is one of 12 celebrities taking to the stage during the sixth season of TV’s favourite guessing game, The Masked Singer.
Praising show bosses for coming up with the name of Bush, judge Davina McCall said: ”The fact that we’ve called somebody Bush this year is too funny.
”Being called Bush every five minutes by (host) Joel [Dommett] makes me laugh so much.”
As well as Bush, the new series welcomes contestants such as Snail, Toad In The Hole and Kingfisher.
So far, Bush has managed to keep their identity a secret.
However, after taking to the stage for the first time, viewers of the ITV show are already convinced they’ve guessed the famous face hiding behind the mask.
In true The Masked Singer style, Bush has dropped several clues.
The character’s main clues so far include:
Bush also shared the riddle: ”I’ve been training for years, and there’s no turning back.
”Have you peeped through my leaves? Are you on the right track?”
This year’s judging panel is made up of Maya Jama, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, and Mo Gilligan.
Love Island host Maya Jama has taken over from Rita Ora.
With the new singing series in full swing, the panel have already made several guesses.
Davina McCall guessed Catherine O’Hara and guest judge Vicky McClure threw BBC’s Ground Force host Charlie Dimmock into the mix.
Other names put forward by the judges include Billie Piper.
Those watching at home have also joined the judges and shared several of their fan theories so far.
After their first performance, viewers are convinced that Bush is McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher.
Sharing their theory online, one fan wrote: ”Tbh i think it’s Tom. It just looks like him idk how to explain.”
It comes after fellow McFly member and The Masked Singer 2024 winner Danny Jones previously claimed he’d been offered the role of Bush.
Danny said he was given the option of playing either a Bush, or a Piranha, ahead of last year’s show.
Other fan theories include Harry Judd and Matt Willis.
Much to the delight of telly fans, The Masked Singer is back for 2025.
Sadly for the stars, not all of this year’s whacky and wonderful characters can make make it to the end of the show.
