A BRIT tourist has died in a horror motorcycle accident while travelling in Thailand.
Corey Beavis, 28, from Barry, Vale of Glamorgan in Wales, tragically died on Saturday.
Corey’s heartbroken twin brother Liam told BBC Wales of his “number one partner in crime”.
He said: “[He] lived life to the fullest and I’m glad we did it together.
“I will struggle to find a way to deal with this pain for the rest of my life, but I promise I will make you really proud.
“Rest easy big man, see you on the other side. From the womb to the world.
“Now I’ll take him on my journey whilst he’s watching over me, absolutely smashing it for him like he’d want me to.
“This has changed me forever.”
The Foreign Office told The Sun: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Thailand and are in contact with the local authorities.”
Corey’s mourning family are now trying to raise money to bring his body back to the UK.
He didn’t have travel or life insurance.
The JustGiving page, looking to raise £35,000, reads: “On Saturday morning 04/01/25, we received the devastating news that our beautiful boy lost his life following a motorcycle accident.
“Corey lit up any room he walked into, with his larger than life character & his infectious laugh.
“He had so much left to give this world, but also lived a life 10x beyond his wildest imagination.
“He was a real genuine person with nothing but love for the people around him.
“As a family we’ve suffered immeasurable loss, and now have to face the realities of repatriation & laying our beautiful boy to rest – having not had travel & life insurance policies in place, the significant costs surrounding this are unimaginable.
“Please help us get Corey home.”
Tributes have been pouring in for Corey on social media.
One user said: “Rest in peace Corey Beavis! Mad to say!”
Another commented: “So sorry to hear this.”
And: “So sorry to hear this thoughts are with all the family.”
