TOWIE star Dan Edgar has confessed that he won’t have the backing of some of his TOWIE co-stars amid a tumultuous year on the show.
The ladies man, 34, has found himself at the centre of drama for the past year on the ITVBe reality series thanks to his doomed romance with Amber Turner and his subsequent dalliance with show stunner, Ella Rae Wise.

Now, ahead of his upcoming stint on Dancing on Ice, Dan has admitted that the “bridges are burned” with his female co-stars who won’t be supporting him as he takes to the rink.
Despite the feud, he revealed that a TOWIE legend and Dancing on Ice veteran will be on-hand to offer up much-needed advice once the series gets underway next week.
Dan said: “Joey Essex is a very good friend of mine who has previously done the show and he’s given me a bit of advice.
“Hopefully he will be able to come down and support me, I know Diags and Lockie will be there for sure.
“I don’t know about the TOWIE girls as I think I may have burnt my bridges with them.”
One person who Dan will be hoping to impress the most is his beloved Nanny Rose.
Confessing she is his biggest fan, Dan admitted she keeps hold of all newspaper cuttings and mentions of the star as well as watching his episodes of TOWIE religiously.
Dan revealed: “[My family] are really excited, they love the show and always watch anything I’m on.
“My nan will be at the live show every week if she can, she’s my number one fan.
“Nanny Rose sits and watches every episode of TOWIE and keeps a scrapbook of any newspaper cuttings so she will love it.”
Dan is paired up with pro skater Vanessa James for his stint on the ice.
He won’t be the only Essex legend to go for a spin with fellow TOWIE star Ferne McCann also on the bill.
The pair will be joined by nine other celebrities hoping to impress on the ice this Sunday.
