A MUM-TO-BE has taken the internet by storm after showing off her mega baby bump, with people thinking it has to be home to almost a dozen babies.
Every person’s pregnancy journey is unique – whilst some experience barely any visible changes, others are walking around with an enormous monster bump – and mum-of-three Lauren knows a little too well about this.
The dark-haired beauty is expecting a baby girl to join her growing brood in February and has regularly been sharing her pregnancy updates on TikTok.
With the big day now just weeks away, Lauren, who works as a midwife, recently uploaded a clip where she showed off the latest changes in her body.
The now-viral clip, which has racked up more than a whopping 3million views in less than 24 hours, sees the ink lover with her top pulled up to reveal the monster bump.
As the mum-to-be shows off her best dance moves and vibes to the music in the background, TikTok viewers could see the epic size from every angle.
The comments section was almost immediately filled with people expressing their shock, as thousands refused to believe she was going to give birth to just one child.
Hundreds flocked to share their guesses, with one person writing: ”My name is Bree and I think it’s quadruplets.”
Another chimed with an even bigger guess, commenting: ”Now I’m invested, bring me back when the 34 babies are out.”
”Are they paying rent?” someone else wondered, as a viewer reckoned ”there must be at least 10 in there”.
”The baby got an apartment in there,” a fourth added.
”naw…file a lawsuit against EVERYBODY,” a social media user joked.
Responding to a previous comment, Lauren explained that she suffers from polyhydramnios, a condition when there is too much amniotic fluid around the developing fetus.
More common if you’re expecting more than one baby, polyhydramnios can cause tummy pain and make your tummy get bigger suddenly.
The cause of polyhydramnios is often unknown, but some possible causes include diabetes during pregnancy, as well as an infection during pregnancy.
According to the NHS, it’s not usually serious, but there can be some complications, such as your waters breaking early and the baby being born prematurely.
Sharing an update on her mega bump, Lauren joked and said she could compete for ”the world’s most water around a baby”.
”I’ll definitely have that title,” she told the 50k followers on her page.
There are a lot of strange myths around pregnancy - and some of them may surprise you...
”There’s just one baby […]. My back hurts – but she’s still cooking nicely,” said Lauren who suffered from the condition during her first pregnancy as well.
According to Lauren, she thought this ”pregnancy was going to be an amazing experience” – however, that hasn’t quite worked out that way.
”Instead, I’ve got a baby with way too much water causing severe backache, I sleep in, schedule’s not straight through, nothing fits, constantly peeing and an hormonal mess.
”But it’s fine because she’s happy in the floating around happily enjoying her time, like Dory from Nemo.”
