MEGHAN Markle is desperate to keep one foot in the Royal Family and the Firm need to keep an eye on her, a royal expert has claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex made a return to social media on Wednesday – six years after deleting her accounts and beloved lifestyle blog The Tig.

Meghan then gave fans an insight into her show With Love, Meghan, which airs on January 15, in a new trailer yesterday.
But royal expert Phil Dampier told The Sun that Meghan, as well as Prince Harry, still have one foot firmly in the Royal Family despite their solo ventures.
He explained: “They were working royals and then they decided to opt out.
“Their problem is they’ve tried to have their cake and eat it all along and tried to have a foot in both camps.
“You know they’re still in the line of succession, quite high up in the line of succession, as are their children.
“Of course Meghan’s not but Harry is, and his children. They’ve still got this sort of one foot in one foot out.
“That is the basic problem that I’m sure King Charles and the courtiers are wrestling with as we go forward.
“If they overdo the commercialisation, if they overdo any more of the you know the insults towards the Royal Family, then they might have to rethink it.
“But at the moment they’re getting away with both being in the line of succession, keeping their titles and doing their own thing.”
Meanwhile Hugo Vickers said Meghan and Prince Harry have “exhausted” their negativity towards the Firm in recent years, and it’s “not been very productive” for them.
Mr Vickers said unlike the main royals, who work for the country and Commonwealth, “they’re working for themselves” and “unless they keep themselves in the public eye they disappear”.
Mr Vickers said is not clear what Meghan will use her new Instagram account for.
“I would think that a positive approach, which is what they clearly are trying to do, is better than what you might call a negative approach, which is attacking the Royal Family,” he said.

“They’ve said their bit, and they are completely detached from the Royal Family.
“Except for the fact that they still use their titles, which is obviously part of the marketing.
“We wouldn’t be talking about them if they didn’t have those titles.”
Mr Vickers said the Sussexes “read everything available that’s written about them, and they monitor everything”.
But he doesn’t think the Royal Family itself will need to keep close tabs on Meghan’s account.
The expert said: “I don’t think they’ll need to take one look at the account, because if she says anything on there which is in any way controversial, it’ll be very widely reported, so it’ll reach them through another channel.”
The Sun has approached the Sussexes’ representatives for comment.

Meghan Markle is set to earn £800,000 per post on her new Instagram account, it is claimed.
However, the Duchess of Sussex has reportedly switched comments off on her new Instagram account to avoid any backlash.
Meghan can then be seen drawing the digits 2025 into the sand while wearing an all-white ensemble.
She finally turns to the camera grins before playfully running away.
The clip was captioned simply “@meghan”.
Experts have previously estimated the former Hollywood actress, 43, could make $1milllion (£790,000) per post as “an absolute minimum”, reports MailOnline.
The launch of the duchess’ new account – replacing her old meghanmarkle Instagram which boasted 3 million followers – comes after the Sussexes swore to stay of social media.
The couple said they had had to deal with an “almost unsurvivable” amount of abuse.
The beach clip – Meghan’s first social media post in years – was uploaded on Wednesday but fans questioned why she’d turned off comments.
One person labelled her a “coward”, though many others showed support for the decision.
There will be eight 33 minute episodes featuring a host of Meg’s various Hollywood friends trying her simple, yet “elevated”, food.
Fellow Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, who played Dana Scott on the hit show, made an appearance in the trailer.
Producer, actress and comedian Mindy Kaling could even be seen saying this was “one of the most glamorous moments” of her life.
A montage of various clips in the nearly two minute video showed Meghan walking through vegetable patches and fields.
She was also filmed browsing through beautiful flowers for table arrangements.
The Duchess even tried her hand at beekeeping, fully suited up, as she collected honey.
The trailer showcased many “candid” moments, from Meghan accidentally squeezing some lemon juice in her eye, to knocking freshly baked goodies off a plate.
Prince Harry featured at the end of the video, embracing his wife in a warm hug.
The pair laughed as they sipped some mimosas.
