EMMERDALE fans were quick to spot a major blunder on last night’s episode when Jacob Gallagher faced a life-changing first day at A&E.
The hour-long episode was set entirely at Hotten General Hospital with a slew of characters facing different fates during the show.
Jacob found himself on placement for his very first shift as a doctor but it did not take long before it all went awry.
Before things took a bad turn however, Jacob was all smiles as he uploaded a beaming selfie to his social media profile to mark the big day.
Adopting the handle, Dr. Gallagher, the Dales residents were quick to see he was hard at work with Moira taking particular interest given that she was in the hospital waiting for consultations and tests amid her scary brain tumour.
She saw Jacob in the hospital corridors and wasted no time in taking a look at his smiling selfie and showing it off to hubby Cain.
However, eagle-eyed Emmerdale fans were quick to spot a big blunder with Moira looking at the photo.
In the mock-Facebook profile, it appeared Moira was actually LOGGED IN to Jacob’s account in a move missed by soap bosses.
Staring at the snap he uploaded, it could be seen that she was logged into Jacob’s account thanks to a giveaway clue above.
In the box above, Jacob’s profile picture could be seen as the preemptive text read: “What’s on your mind?”
Later in the episode, Moira told Jacob she liked his selfie in a heartwarming moment.
But the blunder did not go unnoticed with Emmerdale fans quick to have their say.
Making light of the error, one fan said: “She liked his new photo so much she made it her profile picture.”
Jacob came face-to-face with many characters in the unique episode.
One shock came in the form of his love interest, Sarah Sugden, being hauled in and collapsing on the floor.
Her tests revealed that she had alcohol poisoning, after a big bottomless brunch blow-out.
Jacob fumed at her for her recklessness, when there are people queuing and waiting to be seen by medical professionals.
But when he went back to apologise for snapping at her, she had already left and discharged herself.
