TELEVISION star George Clarke has shared a major update on his filming plans after facing a difficult Christmas.
The star, famed for his show Amazing Spaces, shared positive news with his followers regarding his upcoming filming schedule.
George, 50, revealed that he would be heading overseas in just a few weeks time for his next project.
He said on Instagram: “Can’t wait to start filming in Australia and New Zealand in February 2025.”
George then further added: “What a start to the year!”
Whilst he kept details of what programme he was filming a secret, the news certainly decided his army of loyal fans Down Under.
One of his followers wrote: “We can’t wait to see you in New Zealand.”
Another added: “Hope you enjoy our wonderful country here in Australia.”
Whilst a third shared: “Can’t wait to see this.”
The uplifting news comes after the Channel 4 star was shockingly robbed at knifepoint shortly before Christmas.
He previously shared the news in which he said he could have been stabbed in the frightening incident that happened in London in December.
He wrote on social media: “To the little **** who stole my watch tonight… I pity you.
“It’s only a watch at the end of the day. Although I loved it and grafted for it. But I could have been stabbed so let it go…”
Furious about the mugging, George admitted he wanted to hurt the person who targeted him.
He continued: “I’m ok. I’m just angry with myself.
“I wanted to hit him but I’d be the one done for assault!!!!”
While George hasn’t confirmed the model of the watch that was taken, he previously spoke of his pride in wearing his grandad’s Omega timepiece.
Responding to fans after the robbery, he said the stolen watch held great sentimental value.
Popular George is a designer and architect who is best known for his work fronting the programmes Amazing Spaces, Old House, New House and The Restoration Man.
He has three children – Georgie, 20, Emilio, 18 and Iona, 16 – from his relationship with first wife Catriona, who he was married to for over 10 years before divorcing in 2013.
George married Katie Morgan in 2018 but the pair went their separate ways in 2022.
