THE LATE Princess Diana had three model nieces that all look just like her.
Prince Harry, 40, and Prince William’s mother Diana was one of the most recognisable figures of the late twentieth century, but very few know about her lineage as part of the Spencer family.
The British noble brood dates all the way back to the 1500s and is distantly related to Winston Churchill and Audrey Hepburn.
Diana had four siblings, three of which are still alive today: Lady Sarah McCorquodale, Lady Jane Fellowes and Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer.
As for Charles Spencer, he has seven children from three different marriages, with Ladies Kitty, Eliza and Amelia being his first three daughters with wife Victoria Aitken, formerly known as Victoria, Countess Spencer.
The daughters of Charles Spencer, were all born in England but grew up abroad and away from the limelight.
They are now all working as models for luxury brands as they travel the world.
Here, we take a close-up look at Diana’s ‘wild child’ nieces – from their tumultuous upbringing to one of their £72million net worth.
Lady Kitty Spencer, who just days ago celebrated her 34th birthday, is the eldest of Charles Spencer’s children.
She was raised in Cape Town, South Africa and attended Reddam House, a private school.
Lady Kitty went on to study psychology, politics and English literature at the University of Cape Town.
She also studied art history and Italian in Italy and completed a master’s degree in luxury brand management from the European Business School London at Regent’s University London.
She made her public debut at Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s 2011 wedding and has since gained recognition as a model and social figure.
Her modelling career began at the age of just one when she appeared alongside her mother on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK.
She later signed with Storm Management and made her modelling debut in 2015 in the December issue of Tatler.
Since then, Kitty has walked multiple Dolce & Gabbana runways during fashion week and officially became one of their brand ambassadors in February 2021.
Not only this, but the socialite is also the brand ambassador for the luxury jewellery brand BVLGARI.
Aside from her modelling career, she has become a committed advocate for the homeless charity Centrepoint, supporting her cousin Prince William, 42, at various events, including their recent awards ceremony.
Then, in 2018, she attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s wedding with her mother, sister Amelia and brother Louis, who joined her arm-in-arm as they arrived at Windsor Castle.
The 34-year-old married South African-British multimillionaire businessman, Michael Lewis, 64, in Rome at the Villa Aldobrandini in July 2021.
But like her other siblings, rumours of a rift between Lady Kitty – who is 32 years younger than her husband – and her father, have emerged.
Princess Diana‘s younger brother did not attend Lady Kitty’s wedding and instead, she was walked down the aisle by her brother Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp, 30, and half brother Samuel Aitken.
A source at the time told MailOnline: “Kitty and Charles were very close when she was growing up, but their relationship has cooled and been more distant since his marriage to his third wife Karen in 2011.
“Charles recently suffered an injury and perhaps that will be the reason for him not travelling, but it is just easier for everyone that he is not there.
“The four children are all close to their mother Victoria and get on well with their step siblings, and their Spencer aunts and have forged their own relationships with one another without needing Charles to bind them together.”
After years of separation, Prince Charles and Princess Diana divorced in 1996.
In 1997, Princess Diana spent her summer in the south of France and Italy. During August, she visited Sarajevo, Bosnia, to highlight the fight against landmines.
By the end of the month, the Princess of Wales and Dodi Al-Fayed travelled to Paris together.
It was revealed that Princess Diana stayed longer than planned in Paris due to a row over her land mine campaign.
Travelling in a black Mercedes Benz, Princess Diana was involved in a car crash in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel on August 31, 1997.
The Princess of Wales died at the age of 36.
Her funeral was held on September 6, 1997. As her coffin made the journey from Kensington Palace to Westminister Abbey, Prince William and Prince Harry walked behind their late mother.
Princess Diana’s mother, Frances Shand Kydd, and sisters, Jane Fellowes and Sarah McCorquodale, also attended the funeral.

If it wasn’t for her tragic death, Princess Diana would have been 62 today.
Lady Kitty’s husband is the chairman of fashion company Foschini Group and he has three adult children from a previous marriage.
The couple reportedly met through friends in 2018, with their relationship going public after being spotted together in New York in 2019.
Earlier this year, Lady Kitty and Michael welcomed their first child, a daughter named Athena, following a private pregnancy.
The trio now live in a stunning London mansion, believed to be worth £19million.
While the couple’s net worth is not known, it is estimated that they are worth over $200 million combined, with Kitty bringing around £72 million of her own fortune into the marriage.
When discussing her late aunt in an interview with Vanity Fair, Lady Kitty said: “I was so young [when Diana was alive]. There are only a few memories, but special memories and happy memories, and I’m so lucky to have those.”
Meanwhile, Earl Spencer and his first wife Victoria welcomed twins Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza in July 1992.
Lady Eliza, who is now 32, was born in the UK and was just four when the family moved to South Africa in 1995, in a bid to give the children more privacy.
But the twins have been said to have a ‘tumultuous childhood’, as at the time, reports were beginning to emerge of Earl Spencer’s alleged infidelities while Victoria was also struggling with anorexia.
But despite hopes that their relocation would give them another go at family life, the couple separated in 1997 – the same year Princess Diana tragically died in a car accident in Paris at the age of 36.
In 1998, Earl Spencer moved back to the UK – leaving Victoria to raise their family in Cape Town.
Lady Eliza then studied psychology and criminology at Varsity College in South Africa.
Since her public debut at Will and Kate’s wedding, Eliza has been featured in a cover story of Tatler Magazine alongside her twin sister.
She has been dating her boyfriend, Channing Millerd, a 29-year-old tech executive, for the past eight years.

Channing works as the the CEO of a blockchain-based firm that uses developing technologies to trace supply chains.
Whilst Lady Eliza grew up in South Africa, she has since relocated to London where she works as a full-time model.
Since launching her modeling career, Lady Eliza has landed deals with a number of famous designers and brands including Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Chopard, Michael Kors, Bvlgari, Alberta Ferretti and more.
As well as this, she is also an ambassador for British fine jewellery brand Boodles.
Lady Eliza told Tatler in 2021 about her special connection to her aunt Diana and claimed that the late Princess was “incredibly warm, maternal and loving.”
She added: “She always made an effort to connect with us as children and had a talent for reading children’s hearts.
“We always just knew her as our aunt. Growing up in South Africa, I really had very little idea of how significant she was in the world until I was much older.
“As a child, I realised the enormity of the loss for my father and family. It was only later that I came to understand the significance of the loss of her as a figure in the world.”
Lady Eliza’s twin sister, Lady Amelia, 32, grew up alongside her siblings in South Africa and studied at the University of Cape Town.
She may have been born into one of the UK’s most famous aristocratic families – but Lady Amelia’s upbringing was anything but smooth sailing.
After losing her aunt at the age of five, the model also had to deal with the fall-out of her parents’ high profile separation.
As a teenager, Lady Amelia and Victoria frequented the nightclub scene in Cape Town.
And after leaving £14,000-a-year Reddam House School in 2010, Lady Amelia moved into a luxurious waterfront apartment with her sister Lady Eliza, which was paid for by their father.
For their 18th birthdays, Earl Spencer is said to have also given his twin daughters an Audi sports car each.

Around this time, ‘wild child’ Amelia was regularly pictured hitting nightclubs with her peers and partying until the early hours of the morning.
Lady Amelia is signed to Storm Model Management and works as a wedding planner in her hometown of South Africa.
Speaking on her decision to go into the wedding planning business, Lady Amelia told The Telegraph: “I’m a romantic. I love the structure of wedding planning, the timeline. I’m a people person. I enjoy working with everyone from the bride and groom to the parents.”
She became engaged to her boyfriend Greg Mallett, 34, 11 years after meeting at college.
Greg Mallett is the nephew of former South African national rugby coach Nick Mallett.
Born and raised in South Africa, the water polo player and fitness instructor decided to get down on one knee on 22 July 2020 at the Clouds Wine and Guest Estate.
Just last year, the 32-year-old tied the knot in a fairytale wedding at the Quoin Rock Manor House in Stellenbosch, South Africa on March 21.
But in recent years, Lady Amelia appears to have grown apart from her father Earl Spencer – who didn’t fly out to South Africa with the rest of his family to attend her wedding, having also missed his elder daughter Kitty’s nuptials in 2021.
Despite this, just last month, Lady Amelia and her twin sister Lady Eliza paid tribute to their late aunt through their ‘revenge dress’ moment at the British Fashion Awards.
Making a case for timeless silhouettes and understated glamour, the Spencer twins, co-ordinated on the red carpet in visionary black dresses.
The beautiful sisters stunned in elegant black gowns featuring sweetheart necklines, mimicking their aunt’s most infamous number that she wore to a gala at the Serpentine Gallery in London in 1994: the ‘revenge dress’.
It has been reported that Amelia and her sister Eliza are worth around $1 million [£795,000] individually, with their family fortune estimated to be about $154 million [£120.7 million].
