KERRY Katona has confessed she can’t stop crying and is “dreading being totally alone” after her split from fiance Ryan Mahoney.
The former Atomic Kitten star, 44, last month announced the former couple had gone their separate ways after six years.
Now Kerry has opened up ahead of the New Year, revealing she’s “totally heartbroken” after the break-up.
She said: “If I’m being honest, I am dreading January this year. As much as it’s a clean slate, it’s also going to be really tough. The kids are going back to school and I’m not going to have panto to keep me busy, so I really will be alone.”
Writing in her column for new! magazine, she continued: “I’m still totally heartbroken after splitting up from Ryan and I don’t want to be by myself – it’s so difficult.
“DJ [Kerry’s youngest daughter] saw me crying about it the other night and I felt really guilty because I don’t want her to see me upset.
“I explained that it’s a hard time for me, but I’m also happy because I have her and the other kids. It’s really difficult to navigate, but hopefully January won’t be as bad as I fear.”
Kerry also revealed she’s having a lower face lift soon and close pal Katie Price is moving in while she recovers.
She aded: “Katie is going to come to stay with me when I get it done for moral support, which I really appreciate.
“She’s had the procedure done before, so she knows what I’ll be going through and will be able to ease my nerves and anxiety, while helping during my recovery too.”
Mum-of-five Kerry announced her split from Ryan in November after weeks of speculation.
She said at time: “Last week I spoke about how Ryan and I were having a tough time and now he has moved out of the house.
“We are no longer together and It’s been a really tough week – I never in a million years thought this would happen. Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us.”
Kerry and Ryan got engaged four years ago during a romantic holiday to Spain.
The star has been married three times – tying the knot with Brian McFadden in 2002, then Mark Croft in 2007 and George Kay in 2014.
