A BEAUTY enthusiast has shared how she managed to turn back the clock on her appearance in just six months, making her face look 20 years younger with one simple lifestyle change.
Sharma, a self-proclaimed healthy living advocate, took to TikTok to reveal her transformation, saying people now assume she’s a decade younger than her actual age.
In the video, Sharma – known as @shopwithsharma on TikTok – showed side-by-side photos highlighting the dramatic difference in her appearance over the past six months.
“People used to think I was in my forties,” she shared. “Now, they’re convinced I’m in my twenties!”
“It’s all because I started taking something to boost my NAD levels. This is basically the fountain of youth.
“Everyone on TikTok has been talking about this because the celebrities, Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, they’re obsessed with it.
“I was honestly still sceptical so I did my own research. NAD is a coenzyme that affects every single cell in our body.
“Our levels drop as we get older. In particular, between 35 to 40 and I’m 35.”
She explained how beauty fans don’t need to pay thousands of pounds for anti-aging treatments but instead invest in a NAD booster.
An NAD booster is a supplement that increases levels of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), a molecule that plays a key role in many cellular processes, which promotes anti-aging effects.
Sharma continued: “I’m a natural born sceptic but just look at these reviews. I mean, just look at my face. There’s a progression.”
She then showed pictures of her in January, then May, and then a “couple of weeks ago.”
This product can be bought from Amazon for £9.97 for 60 capsules.
Many people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One praised her looks by saying: “Absolutely gorgeous!!!”
A second added: “You literally look 20.”
A third commented: “Wow you look like you’re in your 20’s now.”
Dermatologist and skincare enthusiast Andrea Suarez - known as Dr Dray - revealed why you should wear suncream.
The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference – and this matters for all ages – is protecting your skin from the sun, Andrea stressed.
“The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation,” she continued, not because you’re “not using some jazzy serum or layering 90 different things on your face everyday”.
“If you’re not doing in your 20s, get on that now.”
But she said the use of sun cream alone doesn’t go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing like broad-brimmed hats and long sleeves, on top of not staying out too long in the sun.
Doing this over your lifetime – and all year, not just during the summer or on sunny days – “will reduce the visible signs of photoageing”, Andrea said.
Those are wrinkles, muddled pigmentation and sagging skin.
