A WOMAN has hit back at cruel trolls slamming her age gap relationship, insisting she’s no “gold digger”.
Iranian-born Golbarg – who goes by Gee or Gigi – is 30, and started dating 62-year-old mechanic and garage owner Tim earlier this year.
The pair have faced their fair share of criticism since they began their relationship, especially considering Tim’s son is just two years older than Gee.
Trolls have even accused Gee of being a “gold digger”, and called Tim her “sugar daddy” – among the hoards of cruel remarks she receives on a daily basis from Internet haters.
“I’ve received so many hate comments since I started posting about him on my TikTok,” Gee sighed to Fabulous Online.
“They’re extremely rude and horrible – saying I’m with him for the money.
“Very hurtful”.
She added that Tim’s “flamboyant and cheerful” style and personality has led to some people questioning his sexuality, while others have taken aim at his ‘Turkey Teeth veneers’.
Gee – who divorced her husband last year after eight years of marriage – and Tim first met in July, after she spotted his “nice McLaren” in the car park at their local David Lloyds gym in Bristol.
“I told my friend I have to know who the owner is as McLaren is my dream car,” she recalled.
“We waited in the car park a bit and in the end I decided to write my number on a piece of paper and leave it on his car.”
While she acknowledged that their meeting was anything but traditional, her note worked, as he’d messaged her within 15 minutes, and they arranged to meet by the pool.
“From the moment I met him I knew we were gonna vibe,” she grinned.
“I couldn’t believe he was 61 at the time!
“He looks incredible – he’s a super fit man and the most caring, fun person ever.”
And when it comes to both Gee and Tim’s family’s reception of the other, it’s been smooth sailing.
“I met his friends very shortly and his family after a month, they are very nice,” she said, adding that his friends do poke fun at their age gap.
Tim’s children are also very accepting of Gee, despite the fact that she’s also just four years older than his daughter.
“Tim’s also a granddad as his son had a baby girl last month,” she said.
“I have been very welcomed in the family.”
Now Gee is making it her mission to share her age gap relationship success story, in a bid to encourage others not to rule out potential partners just because of their age.
“We want to live in the moment, have fun and make memories and show the world age is just a number,” she said of her plans for the future.
“We are truly happy together – we have been on holidays, we go out clubbing together, so many things that a typical man in his 60s wouldn’t do.”
