A WOMAN who’s on “cloud nine” about her recent engagement has hit back at trolls insisting the giant diamond must be fake.
Danci’s other half popped the question after setting up an elaborate proposal display for his wife-to-be.
But she was then inundated with trolls insisting the ring was “fake”[/caption]And while she was lucky enough to get engaged to the “love of her life”, Danci also added to her jewellery collection with an absolute whopper of a diamond engagement ring.
“I’m on cloud nine over here,” Danci wrote over a TikTok video of herself showing off the ring.
“It indeed is a rock!” she added in the caption.
“Now let’s go get married!!!!”
However, people quickly took to the comments section to take aim at Danci’s new accessory – with many insisting it’s so big that it doesn’t look real.
“As a jeweler this so not real but congrats,” one wrote.
“Lmfao you are clearly not a diamond expert by any means… but that’s why you weren’t my sales girl,” Danci replied.
“Holy gaudy!!” another gasped.
“Nah….. that looks like a comedy ring,” a third insisted.
“Definitely not a real diamond,” someone else said.
“It’s so cheap,” another sighed.
“It looks like it’s from one of those grabber machines!”
“You don’t know your rings and it shows,” Danci replied.
“Babe I’m sorry but that’s not real,” someone else said, sharing a link to the £269.99 Helloice Luxury Emerald Cut S925 Silver Wedding Ring Set.
“Real or natural? There’s a difference,” Danci hit back, before adding: “I wish it was £269, I’m gonna leave it at that!”
Her response suggested the ring might be made of a lab-grown carbon diamond, rather than a natural diamond mined from the earth.
Here's what you need to know...
The synthetic gemstones are an eco-friendly alternative to traditional diamonds, and are produced using ion composite technology to give them the same appearance, clarity, cut, carat, and colour as top-quality natural diamonds.
Others were more complimentary about the ring, as one wrote: “That’s not a rock or a boulder, it’s a mountain!
“Beautiful ring!”
“Holy cow!!!” another added.
“Congratulations beautiful! Now that’s a ring,” a third gushed.
“You’re not going to be able to stand straight with that thing. Lol!” someone else said.
