A WOMAN who just get wed was blindsided when she found out her husband had been having an affair with her sister for months
Taking to social media, the devastated newly-wed shared how she found out about the affair and why the situation was much harder to escape from.
Taking to Reddit she said: “I’ve been married for a month and my husband is having an affair with my sister.
“I’ve been in shock since I found out.”
She revealed he wasn’t just cheating with a stranger but her own flesh and blood and only found out because her sister’s husband caught them.
The new wife added: “He’s been having the affair with my sister since before we got engaged back in November.
“My sister is 8 months pregnant. Her husband was the one who discovered the affair, and he is divorcing her.”
After being confronted, her sister revealed she had no idea who the father was – as it could be her husband or her lovers.
After being caught cheating, her husband now wants to fix their marriage and go to couples counselling – but she was adamant she wanted to leave.
She said she worked in law so would easily find a solicitor to get her out of the marriage as quickly as possible.
Heartbroken by the situation, she revealed she planned to never speak to her husband or sister again.
“I will never speak to my sister again no matter how much she begs me to forgive her and I am not staying married to my husband no matter how much he begs me to stay, she continued.
“I don’t believe either of them when they say they are sorry. Not one bit.”
The post shared to the subreddit True Off My Chest received hundreds of comments and people praised the woman for standing her ground.
One person wrote: “That is so crazy… two people with no morals or decency found each other.”
Another commented: “I’m baffled because both her and her sister have husbands. Why do a shadow spouse swap? This is so redundant and disrespectful. Hands would be flying if it were my brother in her sister’s shoes with my woman.”

They start to take their phone everywhere with them
In close relationships, it’s normal to know each other’s passwords and use each other’s phones, if their phone habits change then they may be hiding something.
Aaron says: “If your partner starts changing their passwords, starts taking their phone everywhere with them, even around the house or they become defensive when you ask to use their phone it could be a sign of them not being faithful.”
“You should also look at how they place their phone down when not in use. If they face the phone with the screen facing down, then they could be hiding something.”
They start telling you less about their day
When partners cheat they can start to avoid you, this could be down to them feeling guilty or because it makes it easier for them to lie to you.
“If you feel like your partner has suddenly begun to avoid you and they don’t want to do things with you any more or they stop telling you about their day then this is another red flag.”
“Partners often avoid their spouses or tell them less about their day because cheating can be tough, remembering all of your lies is impossible and it’s an easy way to get caught out,” says Aaron.
Their libido changes
Your partner’s libido can change for a range of reasons so it may not be a sure sign of cheating but it can be a red flag according to Aaron.
Aaron says: “Cheaters often have less sex at home because they are cheating, but on occasions, they may also have more sex at home, this is because they feel guilty and use this increase in sex to hide their cheating. You may also find that your partner will start to introduce new things into your sex life that weren’t there before.”
They become negative towards you
Cheaters know that cheating is wrong and to them, it will feel good, this can cause tension and anxiety within themselves which they will need to justify.
“To get rid of the tension they feel inside they will try to convince themselves that you are the problem and they will become critical of you out of nowhere. Maybe you haven’t walked the dog that day, put the dishes away or read a book to your children before bedtime. A small problem like this can now feel like a big deal and if you experience this your partner could be cheating,” warns Aaron.
“The trash took itself out. I’m so glad you found out sooner rather than later. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. 100% never forgive either of them,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Yikes! Your ex and your sister deserve each other.”
“I’m sorry this happened to you. But god, it’s nice to see someone with a backbone that isn’t considering talking to either of those people again, and I’m proud of you for it,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “These are truly terrible people. You are doing the right thing.”
