Described as a “big old barge” but with the feeling of travelling in business class, the Superb does what it says on the tin.
It’s an executive vehicle that gets you form A to B with enough space to relax in-between.
On used car comparison website Drivenbuy, you can take one home for as little at £15,000.
In second place is the remarkable VW ID.Buzz – a multi-purpose minivan that can carry seven people.
Inspired by the legendary T1, the Buzz maintains the essence of old designs into a new electric dimension.
The model, which boasts a both boxy but sleek exterior, is branded as the ultimate SUV.
You can get your hands on a pre-loved version of this car for £39,000.
Just making the podium, in third place, is the BMW i5 Touring which is described on the Top Gear site as “almost too well-equipped for its own good.”
The vehicle is one of the first larger electric wagons on the scene and has been praised for being one of the biggest as well.
It offers a 570 litre boot in 5-seater mode – which can be upped to a 1,7000 litre boot with the rear seats pushed down.
Combining practicality with smoothness, it offers a premium-feel drive with enough knee-room to relax.
On Drivenbuy.com you can snap up a BMW i5 Touring for £65,000, which is no pocket change, but is noticeably cheaper than other BMW’s.
In fourth places come the Hyundai Santa Fe which makes as much as a statement to its drivers as it does to onlookers.
Impressive from exterior to interior, this motor is big enough to fit seven people but modest enough to not be a nightmare in the car park.
The square designs adds that extra space to jam an extra back pack in when you’re setting off on holiday.
In terms of affordability, you get hold of a Hyundai Santa Fe for £48,000 second-hand.
Last but in no way least comes the Dacia Jogger – priced to perfection, Top Gear describes the motor as “ruthlessly attentive to detail.”
The seven seater MPV-estate combo was revived with a new look and is one of the cheapest car of its size available.
Despite not being branded as a premium car, it has the practicality any family would need and its light weight allows you to dart off in a moments notice.
For £17,000 on DrivenBuy, it’s hard to say no to a trusty hybrid that offers all that you need for a family trip.
