DAVE Grohl is said to be spending Christmas with his wife and family in the wake of his cheating scandal.
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl revealed earlier this year that he had fathered a secret love child outside of his 21-year marriage.
The rocker has been married to director and actress Jordyn, 48, since 2003.
Together, the two stars are parents to daughters Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and 10-year-old Ophelia Saint.
And now it has been claimed that despite the bombshell love child revelation that came to light back in the summer, Dave will be “spending Christmas with wife and family”.
People reports that an insider revealed: “They are all spending Christmas as a family.”
Another insider also spilled: “Dave’s been prioritizing his family. He knows he messed up.
“It’s one of those situations where you don’t realize what you have until you’re about to lose it.
“He doesn’t want to lose his family.”
Dave left fans stunned earlier this year when he shared a shock admission about how he had fathered a daughter outside of his marriage to Jordyn.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,” he said.
He went on: “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and their forgiveness.
“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
Since the news broke in the summer, Jordyn has yet to break her silence on the scandal involving her husband.
The director and actress made headlines recently after she was seen with her tennis instructor, with Dave reported to be “jealous” of the pair’s “flirty connection”.
Although a source close to the couple said at the time: “There’s nothing going on with her tennis instructor.
I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.
I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.
I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.
We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.

At the end of September, The Foo Fighters canceled their appearance at the Soundside Festival in Connecticut with them swiftly replaced.
“The band need time to be with their families and focus on regrouping,” a source said at the time.
The source went on to add: “It’s been a turbulent few years, with the loss of their best friend, drummer Taylor Hawkins, the death of Dave’s mum and now the birth of his new child.
“He wants to be at home and focus on earning back the trust of his family.
“Being on the road isn’t the best thing for any of them at the moment.
“It feels like a hiatus is the best thing for them collectively.”
In 2009, Dave opened up about becoming a father to Time magazine, “I used to tour nine months out of the year.
“Now I don’t like being away from my kids for more than 12 days. It’s changed everything that I do.
“When you have kids, you see life through different eyes. You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate.
“It’s inevitable that that would make its way into your songwriting.”
