SKY viewers have been warned about a number of changes coming to popular channels this week.
And there’s even another Christmas channel in the mix, seven weeks before the big day.
UKTV has been gradually rebranding its channels[/caption] More Christmas channels are launching this week[/caption]Much of the shake-up comes from UKTV, whose channels continue to undergo a major overhaul to align with the company’s new big brand, U.
Popular channels Dave, Drama, Yesterday and W have already been rebranded, now known as U&Dave, U&DRAMA, U&YESTERDAY and U&W.
Eden has also shifted to U&Eden and made a free-to-air channel in the process.
Now it’s the turn of classic comedy destination Gold and drama-centred Alibi.
From Thursday, Gold and Alibi will be known as U&Gold and U&Alibi.
Unlike Eden which is now free, they will remain part of paid subscriptions only.
The changes will also be reflected on the +1 timeshifted channels of Gold and Alibi.
Their existing channel numbers on Sky satellite, Sky Glass and Sky Stream will remain unchanged.

Aside from UKTV, another channel is being rebranded – albeit temporarily.
NOW 90s & 00s, which launched earlier this year, becomes NOW XMAS showing all the best festive hits and music videos.
It will remain on satellite number 357.
Sky is also bringing some festive fun to its movie channels.
From Friday, Sky Drama will become Sky Christmas.
As part of the change, the channel number moves to 303 on all Sky platforms.
Elsewhere, Sky Hits is shifting to 308, while Sky Cinema Comedy moves to 310.
