A FOODIE has found what appears to be the biggest chocolate advent calendar in the UK.
She took to social media to show off the massive 5ft Christmas buy which cost £180 from Costco and could barely fit in her trolley.
One foodie found a giant 5ft advent calendar[/caption] She opened it up to see if it was worth the £180 price tag[/caption]She shared how she bought the Lindt calendar to test out and see if it was really worth the £180 price tag.
She said: “This Lindt advent calendar is the best and the worst advent calendar of the whole series.”
The foodie was planning to try a new advent calendar every single day to see which was the best.
The foodie noted that it was the best because of just how impressive it looked but the worst as it was ‘terrible value for money.’
Unlike most advent calendars, the giant Lindt one had full-sized treats including the iconic reindeer, Santa and boxes of Lindt truffles.
She continued: “I do think this would be a great idea for a children’s home, a care home, a hospital ward.
“But for one person buying this advent calendar, it’s not worth the money. The content certainly doesn’t add up to £180.”
Inside you get 25 chocolate treats for £180 – but people did the calculations and found you could buy them all individually for just £87.25.
Depending on just how big of a Lindt fan you are – this advent calendar could be a hit or miss.
The clip has since gone viral over on their TikTok account @uknewestfoods with over 1.7 million views and 51k likes.
People were quick to take to the comments to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: “Just added this all up on Asda and Tesco and the total is £87.25.”
Another commented: “If you made your own you’d save so much money.”
“Could buy it all from the shop separately and make your own advent calendar for half the price,” penned a third.

Limit the amount of presents – buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.
Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you’re not having to buy multiple presents.
Plan ahead – if you’ve got the stamina and budget, it’s worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.
Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you’re not forking out more than you should though.
Buy in Boxing Day sales – some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.
Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.
Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.
They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “£7.50 a day for a calendar is mad.”
“Thanks for your honest answers on the value and you’ve saved me £180. Thanks,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “That’s just crazy money. mine costs £2.”
