While running across the stage with her microphone, Olivia suddenly fell through the hatch, which appeared to have been left open by mistake after an earlier part of the show.
The shocking moment was captured on video and shared across social media.
Her adoring fans audibly showed their horror as Olivia briefly disappeared from sight.
However, she quickly managed to grab onto the edge of the stage and pull herself back up.
Unharmed from the blunder, Olivia reassured the audience with humor, saying, “Oh my God! That was fun, I’m OK! Sometimes there is just a hole in the stage, OK… where was I?”
After the incident, concerned fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their relief and worry.
Comments included, “Omg that fall!! I hope she’s okay,” “Ouch… hope she is okay,” and “Scary! Why didn’t the crew shut that?”
Another jokingly suggested, “Someone’s getting fired!”
The Grammy winner is now headed to Sydney for four sold-out performances at the Qudos Bank Arena on October 17, 18, 21, and 22.
And, while Olivia’s tour doesn’t end until next July, bookies are predicting she’ll headline Glastonbury before then.
Last week, bookmakers Betfred stopped taking bets on the Driver’s License songstress headlining the iconic festival, which will run from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday, June 29.
Digital Outreach Manager Robert Ford said: “After the announcement of her new Co-op Live Arena gigs, we have decided to suspend betting on Olivia Rodrigo headlining Glastonbury 2025.
“Her announcement has prompted a flurry of bets earlier today and her new dates for Co-op Live perfectly align with her being in the UK for Glastonbury in the final week of June.
“Rodrigo was amongst the favourites initially, with her priced at 11/8 to headline the festival before betting was suspended.”
