WHEN Prime Day comes around, it’s easy to get distracted by all of the discounts on big-ticket items like TVs and smartwatches.
However, some of the best deals are found on less glamorous items.
Yesterday we reported how Amazon had discounted a multipack of 105 dishwasher tablets, and another bulk-buy deal has popped up today.
It’ll be especially appealing to those who have a sweet tooth.
The retailer has halved the price of multipacks of soft drinks including Sprite, Fanta, and Coke Zero, with each 24-pack now under £9.
A 24-pack of Sprite or Fanta is £8.69, while a 24-pack of Coke Zero is just £8.50.
That makes each can of Sprite or Fanta 36p, and each can of Coke Zero 35p.
All three multipacks usually retail on the site for £17.50.
For comparison, the same purchases at Tesco would cost:
According to Price Tracker CamelCamelCamel, this is the cheapest the multipack of Sprite has been on Amazon in 2024; the only time it’s been cheaper was way back in 2012.
The Fanta and Coke Zero, meanwhile, haven’t been this cheap since July 2023.
Amazon shoppers have been impressed with the experience of buying soft drinks from the site, with one customer writing: “I tried Amazon delivery for Sprite cans due to the excellent price. It’s a great option for a quick, refreshing treat.”

Another reviewer summed it up perfectly: “On offer, it would have been rude not to have bought some.”
To take advantage of the deal, you’ll have to be quick; Amazon’s Prime Day sale is in its final hours and is set to end at midnight tonight (9th October).
You’ll also have to be a Prime member. A membership costs £8.99 per month, and grants you access to Prime Video and Amazon Music as well as free delivery on thousands of items.
For our money, it’s one of the best-value subscriptions around.
You can get a free 30-day trial of the subscription, but if you don’t want to be charged a monthly fee, make sure to cancel before the end of the 30 days.
