POPULAR comedian John Bishop has answered the prayers of millions by launching a 2025 arena tour of the UK, to celebrate 25 years in comedy and tickets are only £25.
The Liverpool-born comic has chosen to make the prices affordable for his fans in light of the ongoing cost of living crisis.

Speaking about this tenth stand up tour, the 57-year-old said: ““I can’t believe that next year it will be 25 years since I first performed at the Frog and Bucket in Manchester.
It’s been a rollercoaster! And I can’t thank the fan enough who have supported me all the way. I wanted to mark the anniversary with a brand new tour and do something to say thank you – so every ticket throughout the tour will be£25. I hope you can come and celebrate with me.”
Prior to venturing into stand up, John worked as a pharmaceutircal rep, when he decided to try his hand at stand up comedy, appearing for the first time at Manchesters Frog and Bucket in the year 2000 to just a handful of people.
From there his following grew and he soon made his television debut on Irish comedy show The Panel, before winning the role of Rob Fitch in E4’s teen drama Skins for seasons three and four.

John is happily married to his wife Melanie Bishop.

They reunited after she turned up to one of his gigs and heard him telling jokes about her.
The pair have three sons: Joe (born 1994), Luke (born 1996), and Daniel (born 1998).
John has a family home based in Northwich, Cheshire.
In May 2018, John revealed he is “massively proud” of his sons.
He said in his acceptance speech for the Celebrity Ally Award at the British LGBT Awards: “Like all parents we have problems with them.
“One of my sons has a tattoo on his ankle that was meant to be Africa but looks like Australia, one of my sons mumbles and one of my sons is a gay man.”
