MOO DENG has stolen the internet’s heart with her feisty personality and squishy exterior – but fans don’t realise she has siblings.
While the viral little hippo has taken the world by storm, she’s not the only sweet creature charming visitors at Khao Kheow Open Zoo.

Their names were affectionately chosen by fans through a social media poll and are inspired by Thai dishes.
Social media users struggle to differentiate the three, but Moo Deng can often be seen in a state of chaos whereas her siblings are more laid back.
The siblings are the offspring of 25-year-old Jona and Tony, 24 and are tiny pygmy hippos.
Pygmy hippos are a lot smaller than the common hippo and are an endangered species.
In fact a 2015 study found that there were less than 2,500 remaining in the world.
Moo Toon is the older brother of Moo Deng.
His name is just like Moo Deng’s in that it is pork related – and translates to “stewed pork”.
Despite Moo Toon being just as adorable as his younger sister, he sadly did not rise to fame like she did.

Her name, just like her other siblings, is pork related – and hers means “sweet pork”.
Social media users have also been taken aback by Moo Waan’s cuteness – and can now even point her out in pictures.
Moo Waan is categorized by her pink underbelly and neck, and it’s claimed that some of the viral clips of Moo Deng are actually her sister.
Discussing Moo Waan’s lack of fame compared to Moo Deng, one X user said: “So sorry queen. We failed you.”
Moo Deng has gone viral thanks to her irresistible charm and quirky personality.
This little hippo is a bundle of contradictions – one moment she’s screaming or fleeing from bath time, the next she’s calmly awaiting a petting or mimicking chewing motions despite not being old enough for solid food.
Her cute, slippery appearance only adds to her appeal, captivating viewers around the world.
Moo Deng has even inspired countless beauty enthusiasts to channel their inner baby hippo and create their version of this enchanting look with makeup.
Initially, zookeepers shared just a few photos of her, but the demand for more funny and adorable content has skyrocketed.
Even though she’s still just a baby, Moo Deng’s presence is enchanting a global audience.
The zoo is now working hard to meet the public’s appetite for updates, regularly posting photos and videos while also managing crowds of visitors and protecting her from over-enthusiastic fans.
Fans often relate Moo Deng’s antics to their own experiences, creating memes that compare her moments to humorous events in their own lives.
For instance, if Moo Deng appears angry after a zookeeper splashes water on her, they’ll create content reflecting a similar situation they’ve been in.
Her constant activity also contributes to her viral fame — she’s rarely ever still, always bouncing around, slipping, biting the zookeepers’ knees, and running about.
But now there’s a new animal that the world has gone crazy for called Pesto the penguin, and the adorable bird is now dethroning Moo Deng.
