The bettor stuck the bet on at odds of 1639/1, meaning their £10 stake would return a life-changing £16,400.
Things couldn’t have started better with Villa talent Morgan Rogers netting after 15 minutes having been backed to score or assist.
Defenders Lucas Digne and Jacob Greaves were then carded to complete the first three legs of this customer’s six-leg acca.
Our mystery punter just needed three more selections at Old Trafford and they didn’t have to wait long for Diogo Dalot’ first-half booking.
But then… disaster strikes.

The bettor had backed Destiny Udogie to be carded, but the Italian left-back was taken off at the break by Ange Postecoglou.
