LAUREN Goodger risks the wrath of her ex Mark Wright as she revealed the Towie romance ‘broke her.’
The 37-year-old appeared on the We Need To Talk podcast and spoke to Celebs Go Dating and Married At First Sight star Paul C. Brunson about first loves.
Former Towie stars Lauren and Mark acrimoniously ended their eight-year relationship on the reality show back in 2012, with Mark later marrying actress Michelle Keegan.
And now Lauren Goodger has opened up on the split, as Paul said: “So then you end up breaking up with Mark.”
Lauren went on: “I hurt him, he hurt me. We had that chat and I knew I was never going to see him again.”
Paul then asked: “Were you still in love with him?” to which Lauren candidly replied: “Really honest, I don’t think that sort of love from childhood goes away.
“Obviously he’s moved on with his life and he’s got to respect that and I respect that, but I would love to say ‘hey how are you? All good?’
“We don’t speak. How can he been seen chatting to me, if someone took a photo of that or said something it could cause a lot of trouble, more than what it is.”
In a separate clip, Lauren says the attention on hers and Mark’s relationship “broke her.”
It comes as Mark was left furious over Lauren’s return to Towie earlier this year.
Their rollercoaster romance was depicted in some of Towie’s most explosive scenes.
And they both stepped back from the show at different times, but Lauren made an explosive comeback earlier this year.
Since her return, the mum of two opened up on her “heartache” over Mark.
But an insider revealed that he is fed up with his name being mentioned by his ex on the show.
The source said: “Mark wishes Lauren would move on and stop mentioning him – he has moved on from Towie and doesn’t need her bringing up the past.
“He’s fuming about it but wishes her well.”
While on the show, Lauren discussed a tattoo she had of Mark’s name in an intimate area.
She joined beautician Amy Childs for a chat, reflecting on their friendship.Amy recalled: “I remember spray-tanning you and being like, ‘oh my god, she’s got “Mark” on her noonie’.”
She then asked Lauren: “Have you still got it?” before Lauren quipped: “No. It’s gone. It had to go.
“How could I get with a new boy with that on my noon?”
