LIKE many women, Camila Cabello believes in changing up her hair not only to make a statement but also to signal a dramatic transition.
The pop star’s hairstylist revealed that a $10 drugstore product keeps her latest platinum ‘do healthy and brass-free.

“You know, I felt like I needed a big, physical change,” she said.
“I feel, I don’t know, my dark hair has been with me for all of my life, like it was just a significant part of how the public saw me, how the world saw me, and how I saw myself.”
The decision to go blonde, however, was far from spontaneous.
“I definitely think you need to try wigs because it’s such a big change,” she said.
“But I do feel like everyone should do it… it brings out a different part of your personality. It’s kind of like a YOLO.”
Recruiting the help of colorist Nikki Lee and hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, the pop star successfully achieved a pale white blonde.
“Our promise to each other was we could do it, but only if we kept her hair as healthy as possible,” said Nikki Lee in a statement.
“We got her to this color with three appointments.”
Nikki also revealed the key $10 product that keeps brassy tones out.
“We used L’Oreal Paris Féria Toner in Icy Blonde as an easy way for her to eliminate any brassiness and keep her hair shiny until she can get back into the salon to see me,” she said.
“We’re loving everything about this change on her; she’s glowing, and it’s channeling 2024 vibes for sure!”
While Camila may be pleased with her new look, the sudden change raised a few eyebrows.
After the singer shared a video debuting the ‘do, fans left comments alleging that she dyed her hair to copy Sabrina Carpenter, who dated her ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes.
Sabrina recently released her new album, Short n’ Sweet, which features songs many speculate are about Mendes, including “Taste,” a song about a man who cannot decide between his ex and another woman.

“I cannot take my favs being in a love triangle again. Please, can we just blame the man?” said one commenter.
“Promoting this song with the blonde hair is a whole other level, and I’m here for it,” said another.
“This is INSANE timing and honestly…. I support it fully,” said a third.
“Like, okay, fine, I’d do the same.”
