AS Strictly Come Dancing returns to our screens this week, many fans have been trying to figure out who the professional dancers are paired with.
The upcoming series marks the competition’s 20th anniversary and will see a fresh batch of celebrities take to the dancefloor.
With the show just around the corner, many fans are convinced Dianne Buswell will be paired with comedian Chris McCausland.
The 47-year-old will make history as the first blind contestant in the show’s history.
Fueling the rumours, Dianne posted a sneak peek from rehearsals on her Instagram story.
The image showed a celebrity being filmed, but only a glimpse of their hand was visible in the mirror.
Playfully hinting at her partner’s identity, Dianne captioned the post: “That’s my partner’s finger.”
Over on Reddit, a user named Fine_Promise_1852 shared a screenshot of their YouTube feed, where Chris’s Strictly intro video appeared right next to one of Dianne’s vlogs.
Interestingly, both thumbnails featured them making a rock and roll hand gesture, adding to the speculation.
“Look what coincidentally came up next to each other on my YouTube feed…. Definitely a stretch and just a weird coincidence but maybe a sign who knows ”, they wrote.
Other users pointed out that Chris and Dianne are already a hotly-anticipated couple.
Fans of the show will have to wait until Saturday’s launch show for it to be revealed who he’ll be dancing with.
