A WOMAN has revealed the tiny room she and her daughter stay in as she can’t afford to rent a home.
The mum took to social media showing the crowded and tiny room she shared with her nine-year-old.
She showed off the tiny room, which featured two small single beds next to each other as well as a small desk and built-in wardrobe.
The mum said: “Due to rental affordability I live in this room with my 9-year-old. Sleeping in a single bed is difficult.”
The room was bland with beige walls and grey bed sheets but the mum had done her best to make it homely with some wall hangings and decorative cushions.
She added that ‘Absolutely everything we own is in this one cupboard.’
But the mum revealed she had found a savvy way to get out of the tiny room without having to fork out for a hotel or pricey rent.
Instead of staying in the crowded space – the mum shared her clever trick to enjoy lavish houses with their own private pools completely for free.
“I became creative and house sit for locals when they go away,” she explained.
The mum revealed she did it for free in exchange for living there will the owners were away.
Not only did it give her and her daughter some extra space it also meant she could keep her rent costs low.
And as she does it for free we can imagine she’s popular when it comes to housesitting.
She added: “I do this free of charge. It allows us space while there and they often have pools.”
The post was shared in the Facebook group Small Space Living where it went viral with over 470 likes.
