CRITICS have shared their woes about a Game of Thrones-inspired baby name.
While the parents thought there were no problems with their daughter’s unique moniker, others called it “deranged.”

The parents took inspiration from the Game of Thrones’ prequel House of the Dragon when naming their baby girl.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the spin-off series takes place nearly 200 years before Game of Thrones begins.
A House of the Dragon-themed cake featuring the Targaryen sigil — a red three-headed dragon on black — revealed they had named their daughter “Rhaenys Alysanne.”
Rhaenys Targaryen, a fictional character in the book and series, is the granddaughter of King Jaehaerys and the princess of the Targaryen dynasty.
The baby girl’s middle name came from Alysanne, the wife and sister of King Jaehaerys.
“The cake we made for my daughter’s first name day!” the parent captioned the post.
The Redditor however, remained unimpressed.
“Do you think the reference is subtle enough?” they asked sarcastically.
“By the way, her brother’s name is Viserys.”
Critics agreed that they had a bone — or scale — to pick with the parents.
“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Children are not a billboard for your fandoms,” said one exasperated viewer.
“My son Megatron would beg to differ,” joked one replier.
“Megatron Griffin might agree, though,” chimed in another.
Others were shocked by the specific set of characters the parents had chosen to name their children after.
“Let’s name our children after a family known for its incest,” pointed out one Game of Thrones fan.
“Incest and half of them randomly go insane when they reach adulthood,” added another.

Some thought that a part of the name, inspired by the fantasy series, was redeemable.
“I actually love the [A Song of Ice and Fire] name Alysanne,” said one commenter.
“I think it’s very pretty-sounding and looking, but at most, it would be a maybe-probably-not hypothetical middle name for a hypothetical baby girl,” they added.
The name as a whole, however, disgusted them.
“This is just downright deranged,” they said.
